Born Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Evancho has an estimated net worth of $2.5 million. Evancho is a classical crossover American singer who gained recognition after winning as runner up in America’s Got Talent in September 2010. Evancho dedicated singing after she saw the film version of the musical The Phantom of the Opera in a movie theatre. In March April 2008, Evancho competed in Kean Idol, a local talent contest, finishing in second place to a 20 year old opera singer. She performed the title role in a 2009 school musical version of Little Red Riding Hood. In 2009, Evancho caught record producer David Foster’s attention which resulted to her selection for the regional semifinals of his “Hitman Talent Search Contest” where she finished as runner-up. In October 2009 she sang in the “David Foster & Friends” concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. In2009, Evancho released her independent debut album, Prelude to a Dream which debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 121, and at No. 2 on the Billboard Classical Albums chart, in August 2010. On November 16, 2010, Evancho released her album entitled O Holy Night under Columbia Records EP.
